Margaret studied Contemporary Art at Oxford Brookes University where she gained her Masters with distinction in 2012. She studied for her doctorate at the University of Oxford in the mid 1980s and subsequently worked in academic roles with various universities and the NHS. During this time Margaret specialised in participatory and arts-based methodologies, bidding successfully for funds for both academic research and community based projects.
